Black Bean Banana Brownies

I got this recipe for nutrient-dense, gluten- and dairy-free chocolate brownies from one of my favorite creators on TikTok. She said the recipe needs sugar, but I disagree. Maybe it’s because I sweetened with honey, whereas she called for maple syrup?

2 eggs
2 overripe bananas
1/2 c honey
3T coconut oil
1/2c almond meal four
1/2c old-fashioned oats
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1t baking powder
1t baking soda
1t vanilla
1/3c cocoa powder
1/2t salt

Put everything in a blender (make sure the cocoa isn’t on top, or it will spray all over inside the blender. Add chocolate chips or nuts if you want. Layer into a pan and cook at 350° until you can smell them, that means they’re done.
