The apple and carrots give this juice its sweetness, while the ginger and radishes give it some “bite.” In addition to what’s listed, I also threw in the contents of my veggie scrap bag: the stems from kale and collards, broccoli and asparagus ends, etc – all of which I trimmed before cooking but didn’t want to throw away. They make a tasty and nutritious addition to the juice!
1 chunk of ginger root
1 green apple
3 parsnips (these didn’t produce very much juice at all)
2 large carrots
3 stalks celery
veggie scrap bag
1 fennel bulb (anise)
I put everything through the juicer in the order listed.
