I sometimes get an absolute craving for BBQ pork ribs. One way I like to make them is to take country style ribs, slather them with Sweet Baby Ray’s, and bake them in the oven for a while. But it kicks it up another whole notch if you coat them with a nice rub first.
1T brown sugar
2t chili powder
2t garlic powder
2t onion powder
Mix all of the above ingredients together in a spice jar (it should make enough for 2 slabs of ribs). Remove the membrane from your slab of ribs and pat it dry. Sprinkle 1T of rub on each side. Wrap tightly in foil and bake for 2 hours at 275°.
Open the foil and squirt a bunch of Sweet Baby Ray’s all over the ribs. Cook for at least another 30 minutes.
